Schedule

Etgar Offers Programs for K-1 and 2-7th graders. The schedule for older children is twice per week on Tuesdays and Sundays.

All kindergarten and 1st grade students attend Etgar once per week, on Sunday from 9:15a – 12:15p.

A sample day includes:

9:15 – 9:45a: Interactive Tefila with Morahs Bonnie and Sam with song and movement

9:45 – 10:45a: Hebrew including games, workbooks, and manipulatives

10:45 – 11a: Nutritious Snack with 2 – 7, including brachot and Birkat HaMazon

11a – 12:10p: Learning about Parsha, upcoming Jewish holidays, mitzvot, and Israel. Often working  collaboratively with grades 2-3 on crafts  (both edible and non-edible) and hands-on activities relating to the lesson

12:10p: Entire school gathers to say a prayer for Israel and sing HaTikvah

Upper grades (4-7) have a similar schedule with age-appropriate, thought-provoking lessons and activities that are experiential and hands-on as often as possible.
