The High Holidays offer us a sacred opportunity to reflect, renew, and return — to ourselves, to one another, and to the values that guide us. The 5786 season invites us to honor the year that has passed and step into the new one with hearts full of hope and intention.
At Beth Sholom, our tikvah (hope) grows through the expansion of our community and the unification of generations. We are committed to welcoming all who join us, including the many young families finding a home here. We are responsible to them, just as we are grateful for the wisdom and strength of longtime members. Together, each person brings unique gifts to the table, creating a synagogue where belonging, joy, and responsibility are shared by all.
In response to your feedback, we are taking meaningful steps to better integrate young families into our main service while continuing to provide age-appropriate programming. We look forward to smiling at our children and embracing the energy they bring to our sacred space. Babysitting will now be offered for infants through kindergarten both before and after a young children’s service, a staffed quiet sensory lending library will be available at the center-rear of the Main Sanctuary, and our Teen Lounge will be open for grades 6 and up with holiday discussions and time to connect.
Together, we will hear the shofar, engage in teshuvah (repentance), and seek comfort, connection, and inspiration in community. Whether you come for prayer, learning, companionship, or quiet reflection, know that you are part of a circle of belonging — a place where tikvah lights the way forward.
On this page, you will find the many ways we’ll gather during this special season. Wishing you a new year filled with meaning, sweetness, peace, and hope. Shanah Tovah!
Beth Sholom is going green! Digital passes will be emailed the week of September 15th from orders@simpletix.com to the primary adult on your ShulCloud account. Purchased and reciprocal tickets will also be sent to the account primary. Single members will be provided with one ticket and family accounts will be provided with two. Member children, age 26 and under, need not present tickets. Tickets may be presented via phone or printed in advance for scanning. For those for whom this presents a challenge, or who prefer not to use electronic devices on the holidays- not to worry! We will maintain a list of congregants with approved tickets at the check-in table.
To purchase tickets for friends and family of full members in good standing, including members’ adult children age 27 or older and non-member children of any age, or to request discounted tickets for military members & local college students, click here.
To request reciprocal tickets for friends and family of full members in good standing, click here.
Please note: Per Beth Sholom policy, in order to receive High Holiday tickets, full members must either pay at least 50% of their annual dues prior to Rosh Hashana or be enrolled in an approved payment plan. Associate Membership does not include High Holiday tickets, per Beth Sholom bylaws, and reciprocal requests may not be made by Associate Members.
Unable to attend in person? Join us via livestream here. Our high holiday services are password protected. The password will be emailed to all congregants three days prior to Rosh Hashana.
Families, we’ve got you covered! From infants through teens, children will enjoy age-appropriate programming, in addition to a convenient babysitting schedule for our youngest (infant–K). Advance sign-up is required for both youth programming and babysitting, so we can keep everyone safe and staffed. Click here to reserve your spot(s) today!
For the safety and security of all, attendees must enter via the Carchman Glassway on both Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, for all services. In particular, no entry will be permitted from the doors outside the main sanctuary. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience, but we cannot make any exceptions to this rule, except for those who require elevator access.
Elevator access is available from our parking lot, but you must register here for this option in advance. Our staff will be located outside the elevator entrance and will ask for your name prior to providing entry.
Parking is available in multiple off-site locations, with shuttles to and from Beth Sholom running frequently. Details will be shared closer to the holidays.
For those who would like to purchase a space in our parking lot or who are in need of complimentary accessible parking spaces, please click here.
Beth Sholom Congregation reserves the right to refuse entry to our private property on the basis of security. Those who arrive without tickets, who are not on our ticketing list, may not be allowed to enter our building.
Join Beth Sholom in wishing our entire community a Shanah Tova U’metukah – a Happy & Sweet New Year! Click here to add your name to our High Holiday greeting card, which will be mailed to all congregants.
Additionally, Jewish tradition emphasizes the importance of giving tzedakah (charity) in memory of our loved ones and our 5786 Book of Remembrance (available both online and in print on Yom Kippur) provides an opportunity to fulfill this mitzvah. We invite you to include the names of your beloved family members. Click here for more information and to participate.
